I almost missed Amy's Quilt Festival!

I just found out this is the week Amy is having another Blogger's Quilt Festival. I would have been sick if I didn't get to post since I have participated in all the others. I decided to use a quilt I finished yesterday and am giving as a gift today. A colleague of mine is having a baby and I always make quilts for new babies of teachers in the Special Ed Department. The picture is Marge, the expectant Mom at the shower we gave her at lunchtime today. I wish I could make them for all the new Moms at school but Special Ed keeps me busy enough. Just this year we had 2 first babies and 1 second. This isn't the best quilt technically that I've made but I love the pink zoo fabric, I designed it myself and I made the top totally from my stash. If you haven't seen Amy's festival before, check it out by clicking on the icon link to the right. But be warned, there are over 600 entries. You will be amazed, inspired and moved.

  1. Snowball blocks are such a great way to showcase fabrics, aren't they? Cute quilt and kudos to you for making all those baby quilts!
