Kaleidoscope top completed

Here is the completed top of the hot color paisley kaleidoscopes. This is the first time I set blocks on point. Even though it doesn't appear that they are on point, it was the only setting that would get the smaller octagons in between the larger ones. I have some variegated thread with bright green, yellow and pink that I plan to stipple in all the negative black spaces when it gets quilted.
