The last week of June is definitely the best time of the year as far as I'm concerned. I have the whole Summer vacation ahead of me with what seems like unlimited time to quilt and it is light so late, I can ride in the evening and not a trace of seasonal affective disorder. But the best part of all is cherry season! I would rather eat these than cookies any day and they are guilt free. I love this bowl they are in that I got at Wegman's. Until they go back to $5.99 a pound and are past their prime, life really is a bowl of cherries!
