Mystery Solved

These are all the blocks from the Common Threads Quilters Mystery Quilt. I learned two things from doing this quilt so far. One is how to do a partial seam. I used to think this would be hard to do but it is a piece of cake and solves a lot of ways to make more complicated blocks. The other is how to look at choosing fabrics. The usual way is to find a pattern I like and then go looking for the fabric. This time I selected coordinating material that I really loved and then trusted the pattern. I tend to agonize and second guess about the design too much. I need to learn to let go and not be censored by my doubt and questioning voice in my head.
