Welcome to my blog about quilting and various other crafting compulsions that I indulge in. I hope to share my work and creative process with others and get their feedback and comments. It's like Quilt Guild in cyberspace!

Clip Tip
I should send this in to Fons and Porter. A few weeks ago, I bought a big bag of clips in the hardware dept. to use for clamping down my quilts on a table top for pinning. In the past I have done this crawling around on the floor and it is the only part of the quilting process that I absolutely hated! Anyway, I got the idea to use two of the small clips to make my grapevine applique on the long hanging pieces easier to manage. When I looked in the bag, I discovered these tiny clips at the bottom and they are great. Now turning the piece is much easier and the edges are not fraying by the time I finish the applique stitching. This weekend I hope to start on the side pieces with the pomegranate appliques. Stay tuned!
