This is my next project. I got this material at a a quilt show last Spring when I was working on the Very Hungry Caterpillar quilt. This one goes with the Brown Bear, Brown Bear book by Eric Carle. I hope to have it finished by late fall when Kelly will be talking with her class about animals getting ready for the winter. I wasn't sure what to do with the fabric on the bottom. I was trying to decide how to encorporate it into the backing and Kelly suggested making flannel board pieces out of the big animals. What a fabulous idea. I've been teaching high school for too long, 20 years ago when I taught preschool, I would have thought of that myself!
