These are the kaleidoscope blocks laid out on the pool table which I use for a cutting table. I'm hoping that the optical illusion of the gold circles becomes more visible when the blocks are actually joined. Three of the border blocks are shown at the right. I really like the chocolate fabric that will look like an outside border and the light blue triangles come together to make diamonds. One of the things I love about this quilt is how the placement of the pieces creates the pattern without the need for difficult sewing like y-seams.
Welcome to my blog about quilting and various other crafting compulsions that I indulge in. I hope to share my work and creative process with others and get their feedback and comments. It's like Quilt Guild in cyberspace!

Kaleidoscopes Coming Together
