Here it is, my dress for the wedding. I like the canary yellow but mine is ordered in a pale shade of lilac. I've always been a purple fanatic. I ended up ordering a bridesmaid dress instead of a MOB gown for two reasons. The MOB dresses seemed much too matronly. I'm 55 but I don't want to look like the grandmother of the bride! Also, the bridesmaid dresses are 1/2 to 1/3 of the price of the MOB gowns. I plan to spend the money I saved on the dress on some serious jewelry to glam it up. I recommend this shopping strategy to any other Mom with a daughter or son getting married that wants to look fashionable and somewhat trendy instead of dumpy and frumpy!
