Over the weekend, my daughter got her second puppy. This one is a Great Dane named Boomer and he is joining his brother Wolfie the Borzoi. Boomer is a very gentle, mellow dog who sleeps more than anything else. I am still in awe of his size at only 10 weeks old, hence the photo of his leg with my hand as a size reference. I think he's going to be the size of a small pony when he's done growing! We had a lovely 4th of July picnic on the farm with the dogs playing together on the lawn. Thank goodness everyone gets along. Too bad they can't all be guests at the wedding.
