I took advantage of the long weekend to finish these pillows a colleague of mine asked me to make for her Mother and Daughter-in-law. The tops are appliqued with collectible handkerchiefs that belonged to her Mother.


When I first started quilting, I made a quilt out of other handkerchiefs for her. A picture of the original hanky quilt is shown below.


Now that the pillows are done for her, I can back to my own projects. I've got so many currently cooking, I can't decide which to work on. I guess Cecille's shawl and Colleen's mittens which I hope will be a Christmas present should have top priority.
