I'm beginning to make good progress on the chuppah. The star for the canopy is done and yesterday I got an afternoon off from tutoring so I took advantage of the time to sew. I laid out and started sewing one of the side hanging panels with the grapevines. I'm really pleased with how it looks and it has me psyched to do the Hebrew letters that say, "I am my beloved and my beloved is mine." The only other part is the pomegranate appliques and then assembling the whole thing. More pictures to come!
